The Oscars were on
Sunday, March 2nd. As a fan of movies, I'm usually a fan of awards shows. I
like to compare the movies and actors that I thought were transcendent in films
to what others pick as the best of the best. I'm always way off the mark.
That's ok, because I like the pageantry, the dresses, the performances, the
John Travolta-moments. Oh yeah, we were doing a live blog post during the broadcast
and was truly dumbfounded when I heard that jumbled up name. Idina Menzel was a
good sport about it. We all make mistakes but some are much more public than
others.
I’m learning to fit my school schedule with 3 busy kids, a husband with his own agenda and everything else that needs to be done in ONLY 24 hours! I clean, I craft, I bake, I root LOUDLY for my BoSOX! I scrapbook, I’m in love with the theatre. I memorize movies. I sing and dance in the car. I read magazines backwards, and love road trips.Always keeping one hand on my geeky roots, while the other has a firm grip on God.

Living with Grace
Living with Grace
When I was younger I believed Grace was just
the name of my great aunt. When I learned it was more than a name, I thought it
meant being able to move delicately, lightly and effortlessly. I have never had
that definition of grace! I am one of the clumsiest people! Finally I have
learned how grace is defined and how it applies, personally, to me. Grace is
showing favor, kindness, mercy and forgiveness to others.

By now you may wonder how I wound up here. Or, maybe not. Maybe you wonder how silly putty picks crap up from comic books. The point is, I don't see another freaking narrator, so pipe down.

Does Jesus' Great Commission include Facebook? Matthew 28:16-20
Friends, Facebook and God: Do They Work Together?
Matthew 28:16-20 NIV
The Great Commission
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Thanksgiving....Not a good day to be my pants
Thanksgiving....Not a good day to be my pants
I've tried, in vain, for years to not be the typical girl that grows up and *poof* I'm a God-fearing SAHM (one of the few times you'll EVER see that abbreviation on my page!). Every Facebook status is a scripture, instead of posting a funny - including bad language picture, they post spiritual quotes, and yes, more Bible scripture.

If you're gonna be a grump that's ok, but could you be a grump a little further away...
...It's not that I don't love you, 'cause you
know I do. Sometimes I'm grumpy, too.
Today turned into a grumpy day for me. Sundays
aren't good days to be grumpy. Monday is the perfect day to be a miserable
person. At least Garfield won't argue with you about Mondays. Sundays are my
re-charge from God to get you through the week days.
